Aims and Scope
Geosystem Engineering is a quarterly journal comprehensively covering new developments in the field of mineral and energy resources engineering specially focusing on oil and natural gas exploration, analytical and economical geochemistry, geophysics, geology and applied geology, evaluation of the effects of mining activities, role of surface environment and impacts on human
health, resource economics and policy, and related studies.
The editors encourage original research contributions that have novelty, quality, and of potential industrial significance. The manuscripts delivering clearly stated practical scope, applicability in the area of mineral and energy resources engineering, and delivering new theoretical concepts well supported by experimental details will be encouraged. The journal publishes contributions including review paper, research paper, short communication, and discussion.


Preparing and submitting your manuscript
Before preparing your submission, please visit the Geosystem Engineering homepage at http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/tges20 for full instructions for authors, including a complete style guide.
Papers for consideration should be sent to the Korean Society of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineers’s [no hyperlink] ScholarOne Site (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tges). New users should first create an account. Once a user is logged onto the site submissions should be made via the Author Centre.
Submitted manuscripts are subject to peer review at the discretion of the Editorial Office. In order to maintain anonymity during any refereeing process, authors are requested to refrain from, or keep to a minimum, self-referencing.

There are no page charges in Geosystem Engineering.


It is a condition of publication that all contributing authors grant to The Korean Society of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineers the necessary rights to the copyright in all articles submitted to the Journal. Authors are required to sign an Article Publishing Agreement to facilitate this. This will ensure the widest dissemination and protection against copyright infringement of articles. The “article” is defined as comprising the final, definitive, and citable Version of Scholarly Record, and includes: (a) the accepted manuscript in its final and revised form, including the text, abstract, and all accompanying tables, illustrations, data; and (b) any supplementary material. Authors are themselves responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyright material from other sources.
